Alex has become one of Canada’s most successful theatre owners and directors.
As a participant in every Eastwood musical, Alex showed great promise as an actor. Besides his thespian skills Alex also played on the school’s basketball and soccer teams. In his role as Deputy Prime Minister and Valedictorian, Alex left his mark on Eastwood.
A Wilfirid Laurier graduate, Alex went on to receive his Master of Arts in Arts Administration from City University in London, England. Alex returned to Wilfrid Laurier University where he was granted a Honourary Doctor of Letters for his outstanding contributions to Canadian theatre.
Alex is director and CEO for Drayton Entertainment operating the Drayton Festival Theatre Drayton, the St. Jacobs Country Playhouse and School House Theatre in St. Jacobs, the King’s Wharf Theatre, Penetanguishene and the Huron County Playhouse and Playhouse II, in Grand Bend.
Alex has made an enormous contribution to the pleasure and entertainment of thousands of Canadians.
