Eastwood Collegiate Institute (ECI), in partnership with Nutrition for Learning, is proud to announce the launch of the “Food for All” pilot program, starting Thursday, October 15th, 2026. This initiative aims to enhance student well-being and foster community by providing a free, nutritious meal to every ECI student.
Nutrition for Learning has long supported school environments by ensuring students have access to healthy food. Through the expanded Food for All program, the organization will now deliver a lunch option open to the entire student body, ensuring universal access to nourishment without barrier or stigma.
To celebrate the program’s launch, ECI will host its official kickoff meal on Thursday, October 15:
- Kickoff Menu: Grab & Go Taco Bowls
- When: Lunch Period, Thursday, October 15,
- The next schedule lunch will be: Thursday October 29th.
- Where: ECI Bread Room
- Who: Free for all registered ECI students
Following the October 15 kickoff, the meal service dates will be added to the ECI Calendar throughout the duration of the pilot program. All students are encouraged to participate and grab a meal during lunch.
