To Our Eastwood CI Community:
Friday, November 8th is a Mid-Semester Assessment Evaluation and Exam Day. This day can be used by students to get caught up on work and/or connect with teachers either virtually or in person. Classroom teachers can work with students on assignment completion, and/or offer additional opportunities for students to demonstrate a skill or curriculum expectation that has been missed or requires further support.
- Students are not required to attend remotely or in-person;
- Teachers will communicate with their students the expectation/schedule for those days in advance. Though many students may be working from home, students can engage with the teacher virtually (e.g. conferencing/feedback sessions; participation in the virtual classroom; submitting owed work; etc.)
- ACE students will attend school with regular programming and following regular attendance procedures;
- Transportation will run at regular times;
- Teaching staff will be in attendance at school during these days.
