The WRDSB’s Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) is reaching out to gather feedback from families about the recent provincial decision to remove automated speed cameras across Ontario. These cameras operate only in school and community safety zones, helping protect students, staff, and families travelling to and from school.

To ensure that parent and caregiver voices are heard, we’ve created a brief feedback form for affected schools:  Parent and Caregiver Feedback: Removal of School Zone Speed Cameras

Feedback collected will be shared on November 10th with WRDSB Trustees and the Board to help inform discussions and advocacy around student and community safety near schools.
