Dear Parents/Caregivers of Eastwood Students:
In September, our focus was on ensuring that students had what they needed to participate safely in all aspects of the cohort-based, quadmestered school during a pandemic. This was a substantial logistical challenge and we thank all our Eastwood families for cooperating with us to engineer a successful start to the school year.
Now that we are settled in, we do have to circle back on some Board-required items that were put in the back seat as we focused first on student safety and well-being. Specifically, in the September Start Up Package, there are a number of forms that need to be signed off by parents and returned to school. These forms are both routine and important.

One such form is the Responsible Use Procedure for Information, Communication and Collaboration Technologies.  When you sign this form, you are indicating that you have a clear understanding of the responsibilities and obligations that provide the foundation of our school’s ability to safely use computer technology with your children. Parents are generally required to acknowledge this information PRIOR to their child being given access to WRDSB technology. This year we prioritized access to learning over paperwork. But we still need the paperwork.

To sign off on the Responsible Use Procedure, please log in to School Day and indicate your sign off:
  1. Log in to School Day
  2. Under School Items / Detail, click on Upcoming Events
  3. Click on “Responsible Use Procedure” Form
  4. Read the form.
  5. Select your child’s name to sign the Form

If you don’t have a School Day account, click this link to learn how to sign up.

We thank you sincerely for your attention to this matter.
PS. Since you are already in School Day, you may as well fill in any other forms that are applicable to you and that you may have missed back in September!
